Note:
Satellite information and services are innovative tools that support public measures for economic development. For instance, they support building and modernising infrastructure in order to improve accessibility, transport and professional mobility, to reduce digital divide and facilitate e-governance. They help protect the local heritage and take other measures that benefit tourism activities. Such measures increase their economic attractiveness contributing to Cities’ and Regions’ sustainable development.
