Launch of the GI Strategy for Wales

Geographic Information (GI) Strategy For Wales Launched

Launched by Economic Development and Transport Minister Andrew Davies at the Royal Welsh Show 2003.

The Strategy formulated by AGI Cymru is the result of a wide ranging consultation exercise with over a hundred organisations in Wales.

One of the first of it's kind in Europe, the strategy aims to improve access to information, facilitate data sharing, promote joint working between organisations and support best practice.
