Steve is a Director and co-founder of Environment Systems with significant experience in the geographic information and EO industries. He has responsibility for Environment Systems' business development and is Project Director on all major Environment Systems projects including a number of large multi-disciplinary collaborative projects.
Following his degree in Geographical Science at Portsmouth University, Steve became a geographic information consultant developing technical and policy skills related to GIS and remote sensing. He has considerable environmental knowledge, in particular relating to land cover for policy use.
Steve’s experience and success ranges from strategic landscape scale projects to large scale, parcel level studies. Clients he has worked for include the European Commission, Countryside Council for Wales, Defra, Natural England, Welsh Assembly Government, Scottish Government, Environment Agency, Environmental Protection Agency, Forestry Commission, Woodland Trust, London Development Agency, UK Space Agency, Siemens, international NGOs and a large number of local government organisations.
Steve is a Chartered Geographer (CGeog GIS), a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a past Chair of AGI (Association of Geographic Information) Cymru.
